Nigerian stand-up comedian, Mr. Bright Apkocha, known on stage as Basketmouth is set to become the first Nigerian to host the prestigious comedy gig and TV show Comedy Central
Presents…Live at Parker’s in South Africa.

Basketmouth who was brought to the program by Africa’s only 24-hour comedy channel to helm and headline his own edition of the show in Johannesburg, South Africa, on April 24 alongside well-known South African comedians.
It is expected that the Nigerian comic will bring his own brand of comedy to the live gig at
legendary comedy venue, Parker’s Comedy & Jive. It will be aired
exclusively on Comedy Central (DStv Channel 122) on June 14 at 07:55
Nigerian time.
