Super Eagles Stars Are Battle Ready

Full house in Calabar as Super Eagles prepare for Harambee Stars


The Nigerian national team, Super Eagles are battle ready to demolish the visiting Harambee Stars of Keyan this week end.
The Harambee Stars of Kenyan arrived Lagos, Nigeria on Wednesday afternoon for the crucial encounter boasting that they are here for nothing but three points. In their quest to actualizing this dream, Harambee Stars invited a lot of Europe based players who all arrived Nigeria with the team for the encounter.
On the other hand, Stephen Keshi trained with the entire contingent on Tuesday evening except Victor Moses and Obafemi Martins who arrived late due to flight problems, according to reports.
The duo was excused and asked to take a rest from Tuesday’s work out.


Keshi took nine players from the Nigeria Professional Football League for the game along with 15 players called up from Europe for the country’s first game since becoming African champions last month.
With the arrival of the Harambee Stars in good time, it all goes to show that this match will not be a work over for eagles after all. They have to work hard to earn the points.
Local fans in Calabar are already anticipating an interesting encounter as they relish seeing the new African champions for the first time since their triumph.
