After two weeks of medical treatment abroad, The Peoples Governor of Imo State, Chief Rochas Anayo Okorocha finally resumes back to office.
The Governor sustained a minor head injury when his convoy was involved in a motor accident during a project inspection 2 weeks ago in Orlu Local Government area of Imo state.
The Governor said he decided to embark on a quick medical treatment abroad to check the internal head injury he sustained., this he said while briefing Government House Correspondents in Owerri, the state capital.
He however said he has “resumed work as usual and now healthy since doctors have certified that he can resume work as soon as possible”.
Meanwhile, the Governor said he has forgiven the owner of the Benz 200 that rammed into his convoy and donated the sum of N200, 000 to the offender to enable him fix his vehicle.
Governor Okorocha however thanked Nigerians, the Nigerian Media and the People of Imo state for their continuous prayer and support in his absence.
